Turn a Wells Fargo PDF statement into a clean Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (.qbo) or OFX file — with every row checked against the running balance. Free, no signup, and unlike every other PDF converter, nothing is uploaded: it's read by your browser's own PDF engine, on your machine.
.pdf only — text-based statements, not scans
Wells Fargo statements are found under Statements & Documents in Wells Fargo Online or the mobile app, downloadable as PDF for any account with online statement history. Personal account holders can usually also export recent activity as CSV, QFX or QBO from the account activity page, separate from the formal statement. Commercial and treasury customers access Wells Fargo's business cash-management platform, the Commercial Electronic Office (CEO®), which can provide BAI2 reporting files.
Prefer that direct export whenever it's offered — a CSV, QFX or BAI2 file comes straight out of Wells Fargo's own system, so there's nothing to misread. Feed a CSV into CSV → QBO for Excel, QBO or OFX, or a CEO BAI2 file into BAI2 → Excel. This converter is for the PDF statement itself, the one format every Wells Fargo account produces regardless of whether a direct export option is enabled for that account.

No part of your Wells Fargo statement leaves your device. The PDF is read locally by JavaScript running in your browser tab, not by a server — this page has no upload endpoint to send it to, and a quick look at your browser's network tab while converting will show no such request. It even keeps working offline once loaded. Details: privacy page.
There's no table structure in a statement PDF, only text placed at coordinates — so this tool clusters the fragments that share a line, orders them left to right, and treats that as a row. Repeated header and footer lines are filtered out, a wrapped-over description is stitched back onto its transaction, and parentheses, leading minus signs and trailing minus signs are all normalized to one signed Amount value. The trailing number on each line becomes the running balance used for the check below, not part of your transaction total.
Yes, for many personal accounts — Wells Fargo Online lets you export recent activity as CSV, QFX or QBO alongside the monthly PDF statement, and CEO® gives treasury customers BAI2 files. Use the direct export when you have it; this page is for converting the PDF statement Wells Fargo always makes available.
Correct, nowhere. The conversion runs entirely client-side, in the tab your Wells Fargo statement is opened in, with no server component backing this page. Your browser's own network tab will confirm it — watch it while converting and no request will carry the file out.
Because this tool reads text position rather than following a fixed Wells Fargo template, unusual layouts can occasionally trip it up even though most statements come through fine. The preview table and balance-check panel are there for exactly this reason — check them before relying on a result, and confirm the source file is a text-based PDF, not a scanned image, if rows seem off.
