Turn a Ally PDF statement into a clean Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (.qbo) or OFX file — with every row checked against the running balance. Free, no signup, and unlike every other PDF converter, nothing is uploaded: it's read by your browser's own PDF engine, on your machine.
.pdf only — text-based statements, not scans
Ally Bank statements are downloaded from Ally's online banking or mobile app, typically under a statements or documents section, as a PDF. Ally is an online-only bank with no physical branches — it began as GMAC Bank and was rebranded Ally in 2010 — so every statement and export option is reached the same way regardless of where you live. Because Ally is built around personal checking, savings and CDs rather than corporate treasury services, it doesn't offer the BAI2 cash-management files that larger commercial banks provide to business customers.
Many Ally accounts let you export recent transactions as CSV from the same online activity view as the statement. Send that to CSV → QBO instead of working from the PDF whenever it's offered — it's Ally's own exact data, turned into Excel, QBO or OFX in a few clicks. Outside the CSV export's date range, or for account types where no direct export exists, the plain PDF statement — read here — is what you're left with.

This page reads your Ally PDF with the browser's own PDF engine — nothing is uploaded. There is no server component and no upload endpoint here; open your browser's network tab while converting and you'll see no request carrying the file. It also keeps working with no internet connection once loaded. Full policy: privacy page.
Because a PDF has no real table, only text sitting at coordinates on the page, this tool rebuilds rows by grouping same-line fragments left to right the way your eye would. Headers and footers that repeat on every page are recognized and skipped, an orphaned continuation line is reattached to the transaction above it, and every negative-amount style — parentheses included — collapses into a single signed Amount column. The final figure on each line is kept as the running balance rather than folded into your totals.
Ally's online accounts typically let you export a chosen range of recent transactions as CSV from the same activity screen as your statements. Take that route when you can, since it's more exact than a PDF; CSV → QBO turns the export into Excel, QBO or OFX. This page instead handles the PDF statement, useful for older history or account types without a CSV option.
Really — the PDF engine runs inside your browser tab, and there's no server component or upload endpoint anywhere on this page. Open your browser's network tab while converting your Ally statement and you'll see no request carrying the file.
No template built specifically for Ally backs this tool — it works from text position on the page instead, which handles most layouts but not necessarily an unusual one. Before trusting the output, look over the preview table and the balance-check panel, and double-check the source is a genuine text-based PDF rather than a scan if anything looks wrong.
