Turn a U.S. Bank PDF statement into a clean Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (.qbo) or OFX file — with every row checked against the running balance. Free, no signup, and unlike every other PDF converter, nothing is uploaded: it's read by your browser's own PDF engine, on your machine.
.pdf only — text-based statements, not scans
You'll find U.S. Bank statements inside its online banking or mobile app, usually filed under a statements or documents area, downloadable as PDF. U.S. Bancorp, the Minneapolis company behind U.S. Bank, is well known outside banking circles too — its name is on U.S. Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings. On the commercial side, its treasury and cash-management clients are routinely handed BAI2 files for daily reconciliation instead of a statement PDF.
Reconcile that BAI2 feed on BAI2 → Excel rather than trying to rebuild it from a PDF — it already carries exact figures from U.S. Bank's own systems. If your personal account instead offers a CSV export of recent transactions, send it to CSV → QBO for Excel, QBO or OFX. Neither option covers every account, though, which is why the PDF statement — free, universal, and what this page converts — still matters.
U.S. Bank is a trademark of U.S. Bancorp. This tool is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by U.S. Bank.
Your U.S. Bank statement is parsed entirely on your own machine, using the same PDF engine a browser tab already runs — it is never sent anywhere. There's no upload endpoint on this page to send it to, which you can confirm yourself by watching your browser's network panel while converting. Disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works. See the privacy page for details.
There's no table structure in a statement PDF, only text placed at coordinates — so this tool clusters the fragments that share a line, orders them left to right, and treats that as a row. Repeated header and footer lines are filtered out, a wrapped-over description is stitched back onto its transaction, and parentheses, leading minus signs and trailing minus signs are all normalized to one signed Amount value. The trailing number on each line becomes the running balance used for the check below, not part of your transaction total.
Its commercial and treasury management customers typically do get BAI2 cash-reporting files as part of daily reconciliation, and BAI2 → Excel converts one of those files directly, without the guesswork a PDF requires. Personal U.S. Bank accounts generally don't have that option and are limited to the monthly PDF statement, which is what this page handles.
Really — the PDF engine runs inside your browser tab, and there's no server component or upload endpoint anywhere on this page. Open your browser's network tab while converting your U.S. Bank statement and you'll see no request carrying the file.
This tool reads the position of text on the page rather than a template built for U.S. Bank specifically, which works for most statement layouts but not every one. Always check the preview table and the balance-check panel before relying on the result, and re-download a text-based PDF, not a scan, if rows look off.
