There's no table structure in a statement PDF, only text placed at coordinates — so this tool clusters the fragments that share a line, orders them left to right, and treats that as a row. Repeated header and footer lines are filtered out, a wrapped-over description is stitched back onto its transaction, and parentheses, leading minus signs and trailing minus signs are all normalized to one signed Amount value. The trailing number on each line becomes the running balance used for the check below, not part of your transaction total.
