Turn a KeyBank PDF statement into a clean Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (.qbo) or OFX file — with every row checked against the running balance. Free, no signup, and unlike every other PDF converter, nothing is uploaded: it's read by your browser's own PDF engine, on your machine.
.pdf only — text-based statements, not scans
KeyBank statements are reached through its online or mobile banking, usually under a statements or documents section, and come as a PDF. Cleveland-headquartered KeyCorp, KeyBank's parent, was assembled through a 1990s merger of two separate regional bank holding companies and today operates across the Northeast, Midwest, Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountain states. Commercial customers there are commonly issued BAI2 cash-reporting files.
That BAI2 file converts cleanly on BAI2 → Excel, with none of the layout-detection a PDF needs. A KeyBank personal account with a CSV export option should instead go through CSV → QBO. This page picks up where neither applies: the ordinary monthly PDF statement every KeyBank account produces.
KeyBank is a trademark of KeyCorp. This tool is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by KeyBank.
Your KeyBank statement is parsed entirely on your own machine, using the same PDF engine a browser tab already runs — it is never sent anywhere. There's no upload endpoint on this page to send it to, which you can confirm yourself by watching your browser's network panel while converting. Disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works. See the privacy page for details.
Because a PDF has no real table, only text sitting at coordinates on the page, this tool rebuilds rows by grouping same-line fragments left to right the way your eye would. Headers and footers that repeat on every page are recognized and skipped, an orphaned continuation line is reattached to the transaction above it, and every negative-amount style — parentheses included — collapses into a single signed Amount column. The final figure on each line is kept as the running balance rather than folded into your totals.
Commercial customers on KeyBank's treasury platform are commonly issued BAI2 cash-reporting files, which convert cleanly on BAI2 → Excel without any PDF layout-guessing. Personal KeyBank accounts typically don't have that option and instead rely on the plain monthly PDF statement this converter handles.
Correct, nowhere. The conversion runs entirely client-side, in the tab your KeyBank statement is opened in, with no server component backing this page. Your browser's own network tab will confirm it — watch it while converting and no request will carry the file out.
This converter has no KeyBank-specific template; it works purely from where text sits on the page, which covers most statement designs but won't catch every edge case. Use the preview table and the balance-check panel to confirm the result before relying on it, and check that your source PDF has selectable text rather than being a scanned image if rows look wrong.
